The spread of English as a global lingua franca has significantly shaped the way language is used across cultures, with non-native speakers playing a central role in its evolution. While much of the existing research focuses on native speakers as the "standard" of the language, non-native speakers have increasingly influenced the lexicon, pronunciation, grammar, and communicative practices in English.
