This article explores the semiotic layers embedded in the literary works of Abdulhamid Cho‘lpon and Abdulla Qodiriy, two pioneers of modern Uzbek literature. Employing a literary semiotic approach, the study focuses on how symbolic images, metaphors, and narrative constructs in their texts form a cultural sign system. The research demonstrates that these authors use literary language not only to tell stories but also to encode ideological resistance, moral values, and national identity. These texts function as complex signifying systems within the Uzbek cultural semiosphere and serve as critical mediators of socio-historical meaning.
