Аннотация

Song and language are universal connectors, bridging people from different cultures and regions. While learning a new language like English can sometimes be challenging, integrating music and song into the learning process can turn it into an enjoyable and efficient experience. This paper discusses the effectiveness of using song in improving lexical competence, and why it is considered a useful means in enriching vocabulary. Furthermore, the author also discusses how songs help to raise cultural awareness. Finally, the author suggests interactive methods to use songs in foreign language learning.
