Recent studies have pointed to the causal role of lymphatic dysfunction in the initiation and progression of lung diseases, indicating that lymph nodes may be active participants in pathological processes in the lungs. However, changes in lymph nodes in the fibrotic process of lung tissue have been poorly studied. We attempted to study the structural changes in regional lymph nodes that occur in experimental pulmonary fibrosis.
