Abstract

This article examines the intersection of linguistic signs and gender semiotics in Uzbek cultural discourse, focusing on the symbolic construction of the female image. Through an analysis of idiomatic expressions, proverbs, literary texts, and conversational norms, the study highlights how language encodes cultural perceptions of women. The article draws upon semiotic theory and gender linguistics to evaluate how these signs function within communicative and ideological frameworks.
